1. Purpose of the Study
This research study investigates economic decision-making, trust, and cooperation in interactive settings.
We aim to understand how people make choices when interacting with others and what factors influence these decisions.
2. What You Will Do
- Participate in a daily decision-making game for 3 consecutive days
- Each day takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete
- You will be paired with other participants and make decisions about resource allocation
- You must answer a brief comprehension test before starting the actual game
- Complete your daily task between specified time windows
3. Compensation
You will receive daily monetary compensation based on your decisions and the decisions of your partner.
Payments will be sent directly to your mobile money account by the end of each day.
The exact amount varies depending on game outcomes, but all participants will receive fair compensation for their time.
4. Risks and Benefits
Risks: There are minimal risks associated with this study. You may experience mild frustration or disappointment based on game outcomes.
Benefits: You will earn monetary compensation and contribute to scientific understanding of economic behavior and decision-making.
5. Privacy and Confidentiality

- Your personal information will be stored securely and separately from your game data
- Published results will only include aggregated, anonymous data
